only things i hate are the power thieving auto, and the fact that ford was too cheap to spray half a can of enamal on the block

haha yeah ive heard claims at some point that they didn't paint the block cause they disapate heat better without paint.

I hate it that the AU has so many AU haters.

Have heard conspiracy theories from other AU owners that the paint and clear coats on the AU are thinner than EF/EL models as a cost cutting measure, though I do think that could be a farce.

Unlikely, I've done rotary paint correction three or four times on the same vehicle before moving on to non abrasive long term filling products like GLARE and G Techniq and had no problems with clear coat thickness

If it is the case I'd say the forte models would of gotten less
Just like BA/BF falcons, the FPV models got better paint with far less orange peel and better clarity
