a fascinating read. few things come to mind. moral compass and cause and effect.
both of these things seem to have been 'misplaced' by some.
along with the loss of identity of both terra firma and that of the common man.

and yes. i lived in fear of my father (still do at 42, lol) as he beat the **** out of me too.
