A yellow Fiat X1/9. Don't see many of those. Most of them ended up being returned to the earth as rust.

Spotted this AU in Myrtleford this morning.
Anyone know what the bodykit is ??

Can not say I've ever seen that grille.

On the way back saw a beaut looking 1942 Chev truck sitting on the roadside.

The Havoc body kit ended up donating the side skirts and rear bumper to the AU III XR8 sedan. You could have either the Tickford Body Kit or Ford Racing Body Kit, either choice were no-cost-options. XR6 ST got the Ford Racing Kit as well.

Spotted an ED Fairmont Ghia today. The paint was flaking off on the bonnet and roof.

Also in the USA the other day I spotted a Caprice cop car.

It's been out of production for a number of years, and was replaced by the Taurus PPV, which also went out of production and was replaced by the Explorer PPV.

But I reckon there would still be plenty of them kicking around various police forces. They loved them.

Pretty sure the Havoc kit was first available on the XR8 Rebel and XR6 ST, then was standard on AU3 XR8.

The original fordforums was behind Ford using the Havok kit too, I remember everyone saying that it should have been factory... A while later it showed up on the Rebel.

I prefer the series 1 havoc grille, I had one years ago, but never ended up fitting it.
Can't remember what I did with it - would be a very rare item now.

Thought you were going to say they were with the Arkansas State Police ! Judging by the amount of pits they perform on youtube. Zero tolerance there.

Today: Holden HJ sedan, a bit rough but on full reg and looking like a daily driver.

Mk 1 Cortina two-door: lowered a lot, creamy-white colour, black mags, rear guards with large flares to cover the wide tyres and I think the flares might have been in a wedge shape to mimic the overall Mk 1 Cortina shape. It was very well done. Full reg B/W plates.

A last gen rear wheel drive Corolla, puttering home from the supermarket.

I remember my folks taking the smaller engined one (and automatic to boot) for a test drive, back in the 80s.

With a few people on board, hills were a challenge.
