Sorry guys I havent read all 52 pages of this thread so not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but given the understated 335kw badges currently in place what do we think the likely hood of 351 appearing on the side of the last xr8?

Yes and nothing we have seen (bar in the interior shot) is anything that you wont already see on a Victorian Road?
So what are they on about?

There's an interior shot floating round? Maybe these snippets will force Ford to resume its teaser campaign.

That being said, there would be some complaints if the boot badge changes yet they continue running identical engines. |

So that car that had the normal FG interior with the fancy door trim was not the real deal then? In terms of being the finished product.

Hey Spyman stop marketing the new Falcon.
You have generated more interest in the Falcon than anyone in Ford Marketing has done in the last few years. Can't have that. On a side note, am I being evil wondering what would happen if a lot of interest was accidentally generated on US Ford Forum sites.

I can go and hide under my rock for awhile now,not that i will But Nikked has pretty much got it with his renders and "thanks" too his top work,we can just sit back for a couple of weeks;-) and see what chess piece they play next knowing the links in the mags motor or top cog oz with prob come out soon with their update Nikked update your pics with the escort grille, turn the indicator up like FG from the side and I think thin the lower air intake and you have the front pretty much On the rear take out the curves to the chrome in the boot cut it in half with colour on top, the bumper curves down and across the boot and put the current pipe area off GS and you can sell it to the mags for a grand Top work Spyman |

When are Ford looking to get production underway, and how long afterward will we see cars in showrooms or will it be more of a special order thing??

I can understands Ford's POV in relation to leaks, but in this case WGAF, if it was other vehicles well then maybe you would be a bit ticked off I guess.
For me anything to do with FH is fair game.

September starts build. October deliveries, November on Sale?
I remember my local dealer did a launch for FG, and Ford themselves also did a launch for fleet customers down at Emerald Lakes on the Goldcoast. I hope that Ford does this again, but I highly doubt it. It was a great resource at the time and made me want an FG straight away!

That's how I see it too. Let's face it, the car is hardly a deal breaker globally (or in Oz) and the way I see it they could take a leaf out of Detroit's book with the build up to the Mustang, seeing as they are pulling the strings anyway, and build a bit of excitement and hype for a car that is the last of a long line.
