Why is it that dental flossing tools and dental picks are so tiny ?
I’m a reasonably big guy and my hands just don’t fit the tools. Not everyone has kiddies’ hands. Plane seats are designed to suit ten year olds to fit more cattle in the truck, but it wouldn’t cost much to make man-sized flossing things. Grrrr. |

Why is it that rare old cars are always found in barns rather than garages or sheds?

Unrelated, why is it that car batteries are $20+ dearer in Melbourne metro than Sydney? Are the bulk of them unloaded at Port Botany?

Why is it that, no matter how much care you take to neatly coil a chord or cable, when you go to unravel it, it turns into a rat's nest that takes 10 times longer to unravel than you took to carefully coil it?

Why is it that when people are turning left from a side road onto a two-way traffic road, they generally only look to the right to see if there's any traffic?
Nearly got collected by a person who did this yesterday whilst I was overtaking (passing) a truck parked on the side of the main road, just before the intersection. I could see them coming, so took avoiding action, but they panicked when they realised I was in their lane coming towards them. It really isn't that much of an inconvenience to look both ways before exiting the side street.

This problem occurs at the end of our street way too often.
Its a t junction on a slight bend, so our cars nose feels vulnerable already, and then you have cars parked on side street opposite our street exit. Should really be yellow lines there to stop them parking. |
