Valiant (Regal?) VE, 1968-ish, light yellow, thin white walls, B/W plates probably the original registration. Peugeot 504 on club permit. Just caught a quick glimpse of a Torana GTR/XU1 (or replica).

Couple I've seen around today.

XC wagon and the Prelude.

and a couple of nicely kept B series. Gold one parked further down.

I spotto'ed another XB coupe on the weekend, not far from where I saw the green one with cragars.
Looked original weary condition.
Bright blue, black stripes, maybe GS.
Great to see another one out and about.

Mazda 323 Shades Edition, parked in Palmerston Rd Hornsby today.

“IAN-924”, naturally a Renault Fuego Porsche 924, I think he’s had it from new. Daily driven condition, white. Seen driving today in Hornsby but previously spotted in Eastwood and possibly the same car I used to see in Killarney Heights.

Jugular XJ-S DHC parked in Hunter St Hornsby, late today.

My old man had one of those, the very last of the Mazda 323s before the Mazda 3 was released, bought it new in 2003.

It made it to 429,000km before it shat its OEM clutch and it got the viking funeral.

It went 140,000km between oil changes once, I pulled the sump off it for lols to see what it looked like - this was when it had around 330,000km on the clock:

Used to do **** like this with it all the time too:

That trailer is over 40 years old, was a home made job by a family friend decades ago when his son was born.

These days with cars you put 91 in them and they crack the ****s.

The old man is adamant he did the right thing because he saved so much money on servicing

They weren't quite Cav's angels, original green & white C reg plates with not much of the white paint left. So long term ownership and reasonably well looked after for nearly 40 years. This was only the "C" version, I had a CS-X version for my first car.

Also spotted a few days earlier in the same location was a mint (resto maybe?) VP Calais 5 litre, dark blue over grey.

Another day of old Holden's. Nice FJ, looks like an older restoration, no camera for the Canary Yellow HX sedan or the blue EJ ute (again) Great to see all 3 on full rego and mostly in original condition.

Modified and tubbed V8 EH as well. Sounded great.

Yellow XC panel van, twin system pipes angled down behind the rear wheels. Fairmont grill and headlights. Might have been a Rally pack with the bonnet on it.

There used to be XA-C doing the show circuit many moons ago, had the complete Merc front stuck on the front.

Today: 1992-93 Fairlane, silver, Vic club plates, driver must have been at least 85 and maybe he has owned it for a long time; I guess it's his daily driver - within the usage limits of a club permit.

Boot spear being the give away?

Reminds me of a VN BT1 Commodore being yellow and with the unpainted bumpers.

I think the Fairmont boot spear and alloy wheels are the imposters. Black door handles say it’s a factory taxi pack, which was only available on GLi (iirc).

Edit: rear headrests would also be a later mod.

It was in pretty good condition too, at least from what I saw.

Mind you I only spotted it when I drove past it, then from across the street because the old guy was the owner of the car and I didn't want to startle him too much by this baby faced degenerate hanging around looking over his car.

Mind you, could be like my Caprice and be mint from 20 meters away, you get up close and its like making out with someone in the dark at the night club and then the lights come on and its some fat redhead with acne and braces.
