Sadly the Mustang is likely to sell like a Ford and the 86 sells like a Toyota...

New title, 2014 falcon sneak peak and any other discussion that comes along ... Ohh look a cat !
But seriously u'd reckon that by now the car mags would come up with a pretty good picture of what the fh will look like, I mean we know the basic new ford front will b grafted onto the fh so why bother covering it up anymore? It can't hurt the fg II sales any more can it ?

Considering it is the Falcon 'replacement' I consider it on topic. Would much prefer to be talking about the Falcon after this one!

Falcon's new shape looks very good, (anything that follows the XF Jaguar looks good IMO),...but will the refreshed Falcon still have the same stupidy high seating position and the same seats with soft as marshmellow bolsters ? How will the tech compare to the VF ? Are we getting adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring ? |

I think one of the MAIN things that the Falcon desperately needs is auto down AND up on ALL windows.
If it at least has some of the tech my 06' BMW has, I actually might consider buying one as I'm looking to upgrade in the near future. C'mon Ford, let the Falcon go out with a bang, as a true flagship model. |

It the best thread we have had in years. Great to see Falcon get the conversation going.

Hopefully there is a little more emotion and pride in place down at BROADY and GEELONG to ensure we get a well thought out and well built LAST ever falcon. No FPV or GT or possibly no F6 either - but maybe the last G6 / G6E and Terri models will be much sought after , good looking and good performing cars. Looking forward to the evolution of the FG exterior , particularly the rear end - something to give the VF a real final battle in terms of street cred.

The also need a vehicle in the large SUV market to keep the momentum up in that market segment for the Terri replacement (Everest?) which could keep the well regarded/established Terri name going? |

Falcon is a dirty word. Territory being an SUV has at least some appeal and if Ford bother doing any advertising of locally made products it is the Territory they choose to do it with.

But I like the fact that i got 5 different sets of keys floating in the bottom of my work bag, and i don't need to find the fob to unlock the car I'm currently driving. Proper keyless entry is a blessing when you're standing in the rain trying to find your remote fob! Lol

Keyless start means you have the fob in your pocket and press the start button, no need to get a key and put it in the ignition and turn it. Falcon has neither - as an example, a $17,000 Renault has both. |

Probably to stop your kid or dog from being decapitated if accidentally hitting the up function...
I'd be happy with auto up only on the driver's window. Mike
