Out of 10 I give it a 9.5. The 0.5 less is because I didnt want it to end!!!!

Absolutely insane movie. I could go on for hours but I got to go to bed, plus I dont want to ruin it for those who are willing to see it this week.

You blokes are in for a treat.
What?!

I went to the midnight screening earlier this morning at that it was rubbish! All my friends thought they've ruined it!

Maybe not rubbish, but fairly average compared to the first movie.

Very dissapointed.. :

WTF? Man I loved it. Thought it was awesome. Looks like my likings are different to others here. Frankly I thought it was killer. I guess it depends on what your expecting.

I don't want to give away the plot so won't go into detail, but it just didn't excite me like the first one. It was building up for a half hour near the end, but then nothing! A lame end, corny/tacky 'funny' moments etc.

Perhaps the first movie was so good that this one never had a chance? In my mind anyway.

Maybe my expectations were different to yours, Im not sure. But in the first one I wanted to see more action, more fights scenes, car chases, suspense etc. I felt I got that in the second one, although there was a bit too much humor added this time. Its ok to add humor, but I reckon if there was a little more seriousness, it would have been mind blowing.

I was more impressed with the CGI that went into this.

I guess if your looking for an epic suspenseful seriousness and something that makes you think, this movie isnt for you. But your looking for a fun, action packed movie with some laughter, you will enjoy it.

It comes down to your expectations I guess.

I saw it last night at an advanced screening, and all I can say is WOW, this movie is entertaining, it is consist of 30mins of plot and 2 hours of robots fighting. This movie is epic.

Unless they read the wrong ad in the paper, or walked into the wrong cinema, I'd say that people who want to see an epic serious movie with suspense wouldn't even consider watching robots change into cars!

Saw it today, its decent enough and its worth a purchase on DVD. Little plot, and when there is, it gets a little ridiculous. Even for someone that was excited about Transformers II, there were a couple of moments I said " ok... "

Don't read if you haven't seen it yet.

I went and saw it last night. REALLY dissapointed. It was a stinker in my books. Transformers One was better. .

What a stinker. What was the go with the devestator robots being joined at the top of the pyrimd and yet fighting the battle at the same time.... The cement truck was near the end (the one with them shields near the end)

Didn't the green one get killed to bring megatron back to life?

Loved the little Wheelie character and the twins. The Matrix of leadership was a gay concept.. Cause it didn't even look like the cartoon version... And I thought that sam would of place itinto primes chest not stab it into it.

5/10 for me 5 mainly for the twins and wheelie.

Come on an evil guy called " the fallen ", Sam being visited by the " primes " while in lingo, the matrix looking like a cheap asian piece of art. Amazing.

We were 15-20mins, and still it felt like it went forever.

Thank god, I like cheesy action movies as much as every other guy.

The pictures are the real matrix of leadership...

just prove once again how hollowood stuffed up a A1 concept comic book or tv shows and tweaks it to a gay movie,

Yeah they really need to make starscream the blue and red combo from the cartoon,

The only thing I liked was the twins and wheelie, jetfire should of been less "old".

I think Michael Bay was trying to appeal to all types of demographic out there, not just the hard core fans. But this was supposed to be based on a cartoon, ya cant expect it to be super serious.

A few of the Higlights for me.

SPOILERS INCLUDED, so if you don't want to know stop reading.

Prime, a lot more badass that the first movie, says "I'll take you all on" when attacked by Megatron, Starscream and the Helicopter (either a revived Blackout, or Grindor).

Jetfire was very cool as the ancient SR-71 Blackbird. It was a shame to see him die at the end, his charater has a lot more potential.

Soundwave was very cool. An excellent update of his old roll of Communications, only this time, on a global scale. It is a pity he didn't say "Eject Ravage" when shooting him down to Earth.

You people who were disappointed, i think you all just expect too much from movies, you all need to do what i do... Switch off, and enjoy the movie for what it is, a movie.

I thought it was a blast, the first movie i couldn't keep up with the action scenes, atleast the 2nd one they slowed it down so you could see what part Optimus was ripping apart....

Good to see most of the original cast too.

Only part i didn't like, was the Terminator style robot chick..... thought that was pretty pointless.... anorexic FTW?
