Default Help with instructions

HI Fadi,
I just bought a territory SR model 2006 - I have had a Viscom roof-top dvd unit installed in it. I know it has audio and video out wires on top of the unit. At the moment only the audio wires are plugged as they come through the AUX in the icc.

I want to upgrade the ICC unit in my car now to a colour screen along with a reverse camera option. I have been quoted $800.00! just on labour to install your goods + $400 worth of wiring!. Can you tell me if there is a video in wire already in the roof going to the icc in the front? is the icc unti easy to install? have you got instructions on how to remove the unit to size it? would it be easy to install the video out from the roof to the front?

Regards

Ron

ps. can you give me your best pricing for the reverse camera, the icc colour upgrade and any other wires i might need so that I can get the video out from the roof-dvd player...

Thanks

Hi,

No there is no wire going from the roof to the ICC in the front unless one was placed there when you had the Viscom installed. Upgrading your unit is not a issue as we can supply removal instructions if need be. Size is not an issue as the upgraded screen in no way effects the size of your ICC other than having a larger screen. Please email me directly at fadi@asllogistics.com for more info if required

Regards

Default Costs

Hi, could you give me an idea of what I can do to upgrade my standard system 03 XR8. What different options are there, and what costs involved?
I am on the Central coast of NSW, is there anyway for me to do anything from up here?
Cheers

I have a 04 BA XR8 with standard sound. I would like to upgrade to a colour screen and 6 stacker. Could you provide a cost or could you recommend someone in Perth that could do it?

Cheers

There is Thomson ford, parramtta speak to Tom in parts, Peter warren ford inn smithfield speak to lou in service Brad garlick ford speak to Leon in service or Eln ford in Gosford speak to Allan stevenson. Or you can deal with us directly. If you require more assistance please email me directly fadi@asllogistics.com

Hi

Basically if you are happy with a single cd, we can upgrade ur car to have to color screen where you do need if you want to install the hub, dvd, sat nav etc.. Cost is $1100.00, if you want both 6 indash premium sound and color screen where the sound quality is more better then the single cd then the cost is $1650.00. We can also include a rca mod on back of the cd radio module either single cd or 6indash, where it allows you to connect extra amps and woofers cost is $220.00 extra. please email me directly for more info or prices at fadi@asllogistics.com or please visit www.asllogistics.com

Cheers

Default DVD player

I have a 2004 TX Territory with single cd player and wanted to install dvd player and screen. Do you have roof mounted screens or only dash/radio mounted? The kids won't be able to see it from the back if dash mounted, and does this work when driving? Prices would be great too.

Thanks

Hi,

I have a BF Pursuit ute with Presige ( 6 disc) non TFT screen system. What would the cost be to get TFT and some idea on if I could do this myself and retain factory look. Also what are the possibilities for amps etc further down the track with current system.

Also if I opted not to do it myself who here in WA could I deal with? I purchased my car through Lane Ford in Mandurah, who are an FPV dealer.

Thanks

Baz

The tft screen is $1100.00 supplied,as a change over. The factory look will remian as we use genuine ford parts, they pretty easy to install as well.

If you want to add amps/subs we recommend the rca mod we offer. it allows you to run extra amps or subs and will include a remote wire as will. $220.00

Please email directly fadi@asllogistics.com so i can email you pictures and who's the best ppl to install in wa.

Cheers

I'm looking at modifying an ICC soon to fit a double din screen inplace of the factory radio. Once that modification is sorted, is there anything else that needs to be done to the ICC so it will work in my car, programming wise? Since the factory radio will be of no use(possibly removed, depending on what is needed) would I be correct in assuming there will be nothing else that needs programming?
I'm assuming with the BCM, etc, that I should be able to remove them from my existing unit, to fit up to the new one.

Hi

If you mean after market screens, we are not sure we never tried this at all, its up to your installer to work it out.

cheers

I'm the installer. All I need to know is when swapping over an ICC, what needs to be programmed for it to work with the car. Is the radio the only part of it which needs to be programmed?

I really should have worded it like that in the origional post lol.

I still don't think my point is getting accross but thanks anyway. I only wanted to know if that is all that is done with a general ICC change-over, say pre-modification.

Bob, from your last posts it appears you wish to replace your current ICC unit with a modified replacement ICC unit. If this is the case only the replacement ICC will have to be paired with your vehicle for correct operation. Any Ford dealership should be able to help you with this.

Hi

they will not work in your car. The options you have is to go for the premium sound without the dual climate control. We never attempted to fit dual climate control unit in a standard vehicle. too costly not worth it at the end. from what i heard a lot of engine work required. i am not sure if even anyone attemting it.

cheers

Default Query for Dual-Zone System

Hello Fadi,
Quick question - I have a new F6 Tornado, with Prestige Sound, 6-CD Stacker, and mono LCD screen, and standard manual aircon control system.

I know it is a bit of work, but I want to fit a Dual-Zone System, with Premium Sound, and possibly standard Color LCD - not TFT screen.

I will ask either yourself or Ford to reprogram the BEM to work with the new ICC, and Ford will have to reprogram the HIM to make the Dual-Zone work, and I will fit some new components to make dual-zone work.

Now, I have a question or 2, if you don't mind.

Can you supply me with a decent complete ICC, with the front facia, and buttons etc for a dual-zone system. I will get the solenoid required, split shafts etc, you just need to price me on the ICC as requested.

2ndly, Can I offer my near new, 1600km old Prestige unit with stacker as a trade, and do price adjustment with you guys - of course we can test it before hand. If not, can we retrofit my 6-CD Stacker to the new ICC with dual-zone controls if you can provide that for me?

I would appreciate your feedback.

Kind regards,
MrBean
