Yeah but the way you lit up about the people bogged because they got caught in the wet,my question is WHY weren’t you already carrying a spare radiator and water.Much smarter than waiting for a tow truck don’t you think.

…Fleabay can’t standardise their currency drawings?

Purchase from the UK, charged in AUD.
Purchase from Lithuania, charged in GBP.
Purchase from Lithuania, charged in USD.

I’m almost surprised my purchases within Australia weren’t charged in another currency.

No amount of digging will help them when the whole area got soaked; you need to wait for it to dry a bit before recovery of vehicle can be done.

Because I paid top RAC Cover, vehicle insurance and breakdown insurance!

Do you understand that, you only carry essentials, basics , fanbelts or hoses, my RACWA covered me at great expense, 1000klm towing, free hire vehicle for 2 weeks, 7 nights accommodation, just like your car insurance, you don't need it using your flawed logic, why? Because you tow an identical car around on a trailer in case you have an accident in the car your driving!...

You just carry a "spare" car behind you, real clever, fuel usage must be severe, but eh, have a crash, unload your identical car from trailer, connect trailer to second car, drive to car dealer and buy another "spare"..........breakdown insurance lot cheaper!.

Another thread that was created as a bit of fun that has gone off track.

....that, with the festive season approaching quickly, I'm just not in the festive mood?

You'd think after all the crap we've been through with covid this year, and all the other stresses I've been through this year (perhaps not bad compared to some others, but still some stresses for me and my family) being able to kick back and relax without restriction would be great.

But I'm just not feeling it.

I never "feel it" with regards to Christmas, I just hate it. I don't have a large family, so the gathering is not something to get excited about. Also, I see people getting all excited about the prospect of having holidays, well I don't get them. The best thing about Christmas is when it's over.

Saturday’s my day off everything; unfortunate that Christmas lands on it this year. Normally I mow the lawn or go for a country drive.

Well last year I pulled the waterpump, changed timing belt and rebuilt the fuel pump, I finished it on Cristmas afternoon!

It's still sitting there and she has never driven it?
So much for Chrismas cheer, lol, but, this Christmas I hope to be doing more with my other neighbours sore neck, back and front ribs, she claimed today that her hamstrings are sore!..I was trying to tune a kiddies ukele and the "twang" on the second string made her rub the back of her upper thigh, which she asked about getting rubbed sometime soon.......

But makes up for last year's lack of " joie de vivre "..

Old times yeah… 3d, 6d, shillings and 2bobs had high silver content and were fine.. Decimal coins no bueno, will turn brown/green and contaminate pudding.
And it was for good luck (to answer original question)
