In Street Machine years ago there was a white fleet spec BA sleeper "Council Ute" complete with standard steel rims, an amber beacon on the roof and a supercharged 6. I think Capa built it, wish I could find it online.

Proton Waja
Well technically this was never a car you actually saw in the first place.
And even my trainspotting self was unsure what it was until I saw the badge.

Well Gawlers always good for popping out some interesting stuff from the Barossa, seems to be a lot of pampered stuff up yonder. Whilst one is not a Ford, it's fun to see it being driven with the family on board and doing what it does best, leaning WAYYYY into a corner. and of course the bobble head doggo. He was driving with some verve too...

1971 VG Valiant wagon, brown, B/W plates from that time, old-ish male driver; looks like it could still be in daily use.

Even with all the car events we frequent, i haven't seen that series wagon for yrs!

Had a VF Wagon as a teen, slant motor & Impala floor straight shifter.... that was the last time i saw one of those straight shifters too!

Franco: that one at the tip looks in good condition; the dog in the cabin must be as old as the owner (relatively), but too old to bother to get out. I also saw a Brumby recently and yesterday a Proton Jumbuck.

(Search the net for 'VG Valiant wagon' and you will probably get pics of the same brown-coloured wagon I saw yesterday; the net pics show it with pallets on the roof.)

One that needs no introduction. Daly St Maryborough.

Complete with EFI, period correct alloys, and that little Ford keyhole protector appliqué that I wish I could find for my XH.

Sadly didn’t snap the white ZG I saw at the Melbourne Airport viewing area. Zoomed past when doing an airport pick up.

And a Bluebird which is still hovering around Adelaide someplace though a little altered, weird dealer thing out of Qld the '2002' Bluebird. Dress up pack only. Only ever seen 2, this one was owned by my dad and traded in the 80's on a new in the showroom XF red EFI S Pak, never thought i'd see the Bluebird again but here tis (would've loved the chance to buy her back but no such luck, massive sentimental value).

The grey Alfa that I see parked on the street is an '89 model. White Honda CR-X, 1991-97 model parked at train station; Rover P6 sedan 1963-77 (?) full reg, and today (you see a bit more as a passenger rather than a driver) a red 1979 Commodore sedan, reg. cancelled in April 2022, in a carport.

A nissan gazelle. Completely stock with faded paint. It had P plates on it but i reckon it was bought off the original owner as it had the very 80s/ early 90s nrma badge on the grille.

You don't see many of these '89 Corollas anymore in such good condition. The sedans were also quite rare compared to the hatches/Secas (sedans only made up about 20% of sales). P plater driver too:

Interesting comment...many think they sounds like rubbish...im interested only because it seems like a decent RWD platform to get into but still a bit weighty.

But yeah the V6 doesnt usually get a good wrap.

I should have said it sounded ok for a V6, but nowhere near as good as say an Alfa Busso, Jaguar AJV6 or the VW VR6.
