Data valid as at 00:00 GMT weeks ending March 8th and 15th 2024.
Australia had 7,106 / 4,550 case numbers and 3 / 29 deaths so the CMR is 0.206% (UP).
NZ reported 5,572 / 4,803 cases and 20 / 47 deaths for a CMR of 0.216% (UP).
74,516 & 48,512 new cases in the USA and 721 / 597 deaths for a CMR of 1.090% (-).
South America passed 70M cases while global cases pass 704M.


Global case numbers were 124,386 and 242,474 for each week compared to the 213,427 last reported and the number of deaths reduced substantially from 17,657 last report to 1,155 and 1,461 these last two weeks. I’ve shortened the time frame to 6 months for the graphs below to make the movements clearer.

Data valid as at 00:00 GMT weeks ending March 22nd 2024.
Australia had 5,140 cases (a 13% increase) and 5 deaths so the CMR is 0.205% (DOWN).
NZ reported 4,665 cases (a 2.9% reduction) and 33 deaths for a CMR of 0.217% (UP).
49,290 new cases in the USA and 780 deaths for a CMR of 1.091% (UP).

Global case numbers dropped to 196,283 compared to 242,474 last week and the number of deaths increased from 1,461 last week to 1,713 this week.

Australia had 5,988 cases (a 16.5% increase) and 32 deaths so the CMR is 0.206% (UP).
NZ reported 4,042 cases (a 13.4% reduction) and 12 deaths for a CMR of 0.217% (-).
38,429 new cases in the USA and 378 deaths for a CMR of 1.091% (-).

Global case numbers dropped to 107,441 compared to 196,283 last week and the number of deaths decreased from 1,713 last week to 1,109 this week although it should be noted there was no reporting from South America.

Australia had 4,387 cases (a 26.7% decrease) and 27 deaths so the CMR is 0.206% (-).
NZ reported 3,399 cases (a 15.9% reduction) and 11 deaths for a CMR of 0.217% (-).
33,974 new cases in the USA and 385 deaths for a CMR of 1.091% (-).


Global case numbers increased to 147,688 compared to 107,441 last week and the number of deaths decreased from 1,109 last week to 1,000 this week.

Australia had 3,758 cases (a 14.3% decrease) and 29 deaths so the CMR is 0.206% (-).
NZ did not report this week so CMR remains at 0.217% (-).
20,267 new cases in the USA and 262 deaths for a CMR of 1.091% (-).


Global case numbers decreased to 67,502 compared to 147,668 last week and the number of deaths decreased from 1,000 last week to 723 this week.
