I only ever learned "God save our queen" at school; whoops showing my age here.
I never felt compelled to learn Advance Australia fair. In saying this nothing wrong being patriotic singing your national anthem. Cheers |

Why are they rioting in the streets after the election in France.
It was a clear majority, not like it was close. Are they just following the losers that rioted in America when Trump lost and stormed the Capitol? Will we see riots here after our election (which will be close either way I'm guessing). No, I don't thinks so. This is the problem when almost half the population don't agree with the outcome.

If the Libs win, pro Labor supporters will be waving banners, flags and causing problems. If Labor win, the same people will be waving banners, etc protesting / supporting climate change, trans-sexuals, and The Raving Looney Party. They will be already organised, their big decision will be what banner and cause to select. Whadda we want ? Free pies ! |

…That animals park themselves exactly where/how we want to lie in bed? Do they think we take our legs off to sleep?

Why is it people don't remember the way the Americans lost their load when the prospect of Soviet missiles being on their doorstep in Cuba yet don't see the problem with NATO having troops in the Ukraine on Russia's doorstep?

Having nukes on your door step is bit different having troops on your door step.

And NATO troops were preparing to invade Russia?
I don't think so.

so many youtuber's spend more than half the clip driving to and talking about what they are going to do.
Have they not heard of editing to clearly get to the point and place.

…that some people absolutely hoard those miniature toiletries from hotels and the like? I can understand taking them home to use but taking them home and not using them? Pretty D-grade souvenir IMO.

..that the traffic report on Gippsland's Triple M solely consists of the run into Melbourne CBD (solely focusing on the Monash/Princess freeway congestion) in the mornings and the run out of the CBD in the arvos?
I mean, I get it that the run in and out of the city might be important for some Gippslanders each day, but I'd imagine it's a small proportion of the travelling population. I also get that our traffic concerns are probably nothing like those who live in the city, but please don't paint the traffic report as being a 'local' traffic report. Perhaps you could focus on the traffic around some of the larger regional centres that do actually suffer from traffic congestion, such as Traralgon during school dropoff and pickup times. That place neds a bypass, stat. That's Foxy's Friday rant

People at my gym, well one guy, has to park in an Acrod spot, has his Acrod ticket on the dash, and walks into the gym.
Goes on the rowing machine, the walker, and the bike for about 45 mins, but can't walk an extra 10 steps from the car park. I understand some people have illnesses you can't see, but this is taking the pi$$.

I had to look up what ACROD is,
The ACROD Parking Program supports Western Australians with a severe walking restriction and Western Australians who are legally blind to access the community. ACROD Parking Permits are free. The cost of the permit is funded by the Government of Western Australia. To be eligible for an ACROD Parking Permit you must meet one of the following criteria: You are unable to walk and always require the use of a wheelchair, mobility or medical aid; or Your ability to walk is significantly restricted by a permanent medical condition; or Your ability to walk is significantly restricted by a temporary disability or medical condition (for a minimum of six months); or You are legally blind. |

I had too look acrod up too, so its pretty much a disabled parking permit.
Ive said before in the geez i hate that thread why it annoyse me when people use those permits when they are for others or people in their care but when not with said persons who the permit is for. |

They usually cover an accompanying driver, I have one for family but admit it’s a messy look when you walk (shuffle) someone from the mobility parking spot to their appointment, then stride back confidently to your car and drive off.
A nearby church has parking reserved for the Vicar right next to the door. I’d have though he might park around the corner, what happened to humility and even talking to parishioners on the way past? |

My why is it of the day. People in big cars, ram 1500s, landcruisers etc, they can keep in their lanes. Yet some, not all, people in the smallest cars in the universe like yarri or jazz's just wander all over the road? |

…That a new flagpole on the Harbour Bridge costs $25M?
Surely that amount of money would almost fund re-tooling to make XY GTHOs again! |
