Hi All.
I joined the other day. I used to have an FG XR6 that I traded for a Mazda 6. I missed so much my wife eventually capitulated and told me to go buy another. I bought a late 2011 black G6E-Turbo. It feels like home.....

Hello fellow ford owners, I've visited this site for some time but was eager to step up a level. In my youth I used to be a Holden man, but that all ended when I bought my first Ford a ex Q.P.S. V8 XD pursuit car.
Currently I've a tricked up BF wagon with a Ghia makeover, but I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new wheels a TX Trerritory (didn't have my colour so they are making one).

Gday fella's, I have recently bought my old man's 2009 FG XR8 with the ZF auto, and a Pacemaker 2.5" cat-back system in showroom condition. My current plans are to see the boys at Elite Auto in Brisbane to install...

*Herrod 1.7/8th inch 4-1 headers > 3 inch collector > twin 100-cell 2.5 inch outlet hi-flow cats to mate up to my existing cat back system.
*Herrod camshafts
*Herrod flash tuner
*Herrod FG performance air box (only just released)
*Herrod/Mellings billet oil pump
*Herrod/Powerbond 20% underdrive pulley
* Yella Terra 'BOSS' plenum with either the twin-blade 60mm or oval 90mm throttle body (still undecided)

What sort of power and torque figures do you believe this would provide?

Hey peoples... :-)

I'm Simon.. I'm new to this site, and new to owning ford actually..
My best mate owns a PJ ranger and has been hassling me to sign up lol..
Picked up my 2012 Ranger XLT Crew Cab about 6 weeks ago..

Some basic details so far (all factory fitted)..
* Black
* 6spd Manual
* Ford Snorkel
* EGR 3 Piece Hardlid
* Electronic Brake Controller (For my trailer as i'm a chippy)
* Ford Rubber Floor mats (horrible as they keep sliding around)
* Custom black leather interior with "XLT" embroided onto front seats
* Reversing Camera
* Darkest legal tint

I'm wanting to get a 2" lift kit through ARB (other suggestions welcome), ARB deluxe bar with 9500lb warn winch, 35" muddies (maybe AT's) and lets be honest the list just keeps going.. Its times like this I wonder why I paid off my credit card and cut the card up.. lol

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone, posting my experiences good and bad..

Regards
Simon =D

Hi Steve and welcome to the forums.

I did a quick search for you in the Classic section on Leaf springs and below is the search results. You may want to have a wander through these threads.

http://www.fordforums.com.au/search....archid=6350693

You can refine your search query by putting in the model

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Hi All,
Unsure what I am doing or if I am doing it correctly.
I first became aware of this Fantastic Resource, when searching for info about No Headlights on my Ford Territory. This was it's first Pink Slip Inspection and I swear the lights worked fine the night before.
My Ford Territory is a 2005 AWD 6 Speed SY TS. Purchased from my local Dealer on the Central Coast of NSW. An Ex-Demo with a few extra's, had to negotiate the removal of the Standard Tow Bar for the Ford H/Duty version.
The Territory was purchased to tow a dual axle Caravan weighing about 2.25 tonne. I had No idea that towing the Caravan would have such a negative impact on Fuel economy. The installation of Injected LPG was made a Priority.

Hi Guys
Just getting ready to do some work on my AU series 1 Fairmint Tickfords auto, i have to replace the bush in the auto extension and the seal and i will replace the filter as well. One little problem that has surfaced lately is ,on a cold morning i can back out of the driveway ok ,but then selecting drive it has no drive for a few seconds then engages with a bit of a clunk and then is ok for the rest of the day. i checked the oil level (idiot place for a filler) and it was ok. Its been 35 k since the last service. maybe the oil and filter needs replacing? Any clues. maybe a solinoid sticking. the car has done 228000 ks does not slip in any gear,smooth changes.Overall she is in excellent condition.

Obviously a major one that needs resolving immediately going by the number of posts

PeterShaz, please post a thread in the AU to BF falcon area, with as much detail on your light problem as possible and someone should be able to help you.

Cheers

Down the bottom right of the page you'll see a select list. Click on this and scroll down. You will see a section of Ford Passenger Cars. Under this there is a section for AU to BF.

Alternatively if you go to fordforums.com.au you will see all the sub forums from that page. There is a lot so it can get confusing.

This is the forum for AU to BF

G'day, thought I'd post something. I've just purchased a green top Au Sr wagon (met black ) Found out after I bought that it has pedders all round suspension. No wonder is handles so good!!! Sr wagon is great. Has all the bells and whistles I need, came with an in dash dvd player too. I'm going to upgrade the speakers and put in a sub. There is a problem with the drivers door, It has to be pushed in a little when turning the key to open. I want to get a remote and a spare key as it only came with one key...
Ive also been restoring a Mk2 Cortina as well which is coming along well. Too fricken cold outside at the moment so Ive been working on the engine. BTW how do i add photos?
Cheers. Cam
