Usually its the ballast that carks it if they won't turn on, easy way to check is swap the globe over to the other light, if it works - ballast is screwed. I've seen it on a lot of cars. I also drive with my lights always on. |

With that Black XR8 posted, what a massive shame the GT no longer lives on, the GT would have looked amazing with some striping.

The black XR8 mock-up looks good. Headlights don't look right.
Shame it will never have that stance (height and wheels) from factory.

Our Territory will be 5 years old by the time the update is released and some of this is making me think I should put a new Terri on the shortlist to replace the current one.
We're very happy with the Terri, fantastic vehicle for families! I was thinking of a Grand Cherokee but it doesn't seat 7 and we need that flexibility if we take 1 or 2 of our girls friends with us or for my parents. I'm real interested in the equipment specs; I know the diesel is very popular but I'd most likely go for the 4.0L as seeing this update will be the last of the line!

Have they made a FH GT and you know this. By all accounts history has proven you entirely wrong and the GT has always been a leap ahead of the XR8. So essentially an FH GT may well have been something much "more" than this iteration of the FH XR8. If it makes you happy to whack a $50.00 GT badge on your XR8 and call it a GT - more power to you - but you're only fooling yourself - and no one else. I see you've backtracked now and added the facetious comment........... |

they will use the high torque zf currently in use for the upcoming xr8 and turbo's
but the rest of the range they use the low torque zf 6 speed that is built under license in china. |

YES! I am soooo happy that the last Falcon will look so tough and make the Commodore look like a tarted up Epica attempting to be all grown up.
