Hey guys heres a couple of pics of the coupe with the 17s off my EF, Im still gettin rub with the 10s on the back when theres weight in the back and were going to Taupo for a Ford cruise next week and taking some mates so i'll use these so i dont chew out the 275s. They dont look as bad as i thought they would

A mate has just been over in the Gold coast and while he was there he picked me up some stainless gt tips so that should be done soon!!

This is one amazing car! Well done to you!

Just a question... In the future I'm looking at a respray for my matte black wagon in gloss - does your gloss have a name? I was thinking of hitting up some kind of BMW or Mercedes black because the newer models looks so good, but yours looks amazing!

Also I noticed you have some highlights in metallic black as well, this would also look amazing on the XB GS bonnet with the GT striped done in metallic black.

Any help in this department would be greatly appreciated. I don't have the dosh to be respraying in the near future as it's my daily and I play in a band that takes up all my spare cash, but I'm keen to get a good idea of which shade of black to do and whether or not to accent it with metallic on the GT stripes

Hey bud cheers for the compliments

The car is painted in a Straight black with a red and white pearl in it and the blackouts are actually done in a porsche metallic grey, Heres a couple of pics of what you see in the sun

Great thread mate. Congratulations on having an awesome car. It's been great reading the progress and it is inspiring to see one come up so well.

How are you finding the maintenance on a black car? Are you still glad you painted it black?

Cheers bud, Yep its a bit of work to keep her clean but still very happy with the black and so long as your careful when you wash them and use the right gear you dont get the ugly swirl marks that are common on most black cars. I couldnt imagine it any other colour now

I got them landed here in NZ for $1600 including taxes and freight, I think the freight was $500 us. They were really quick on postage though they turned up 4 days after i paid for them which i thought was really good.

Cheers mate, will get the bum sitting down a bit lower for a start as its only dropped 1.5"s so will drop it another 1.5"s and then to the front which has superlows that have had a coil cut out aswell but still isnt sitting low enough, I'll probably have to get shortened shocks down the track and get reset springs
