We have had one of our XR6 XR8 Club of QLD members ute stolen this morning
Hi Guys,

This morning Darryl (Kerri's brother) had his new 2010 FG XR6 50th Anniversary Ute stolen.

Hasn't even had the chance to bring it on a club run yet as he only got the car just before Xmas.

As I said it's a 2010 FG XR6 50th Anniversary Ute. The colour is Nitro (Blue), has a bulged hard lid, chrome sports bar and rear spoiler, so it stands out. It was stolen from Zillmere, Brisbane Northside.

Registration Number is - 097 RHS

If you're on the road we would appreciate if you could keep an eye out for it.

If you see it or hear about it please PM myself or Shane AKA Blue Thunder 2 and sorry there is no photos of it

how do you steal a brand new car unless you have a key?

i have heard of some dodgy dealership staff a few years ago making a 3rd key for new falcons but nothing lately.

With a tow truck.

Probably someone who crashed one and had no insurance, knock off another to get the parts they need to fix theirs, which is probably the same colour etc.

Well after a few drama packed couple of hours my wife's brother's car has been recovered and the mongrel thieves are in custody.

The mongrels were involved in two accidents, a hit and run, theft of fuel from a petrol station and to top it all off one of the mongrels broke into a house to try and hide from the cops so we will add break and entering as well.

Thanks to a mate who was listening on a scanner, he heard the rego number of the ute, phoned us and said better get out on the road quick, they're moving in on them and that 4 police cars were in a high speed chase. So the wife and I jumped in the car and off we went. We were on the phone with our mate listening on the scanner as we drove along and we arrived just after the cops apprehended one of them. The stupid thing these idiots did was enter a suburb where there is only one way in and one way out, so these two charaters had no where to go. They were going to get caught whether they liked it or not. The other offender ran off and disappeared into mud flats. The dog squad was on hand, cops were on the road that comes in and out of the area and they quickly apprehended the other one.

So both of them are sitting in a cell right now, one of the offenders is very well known to the police, they said he has serious form and is not the type you would want to run into. They will both be off to the big house for some time.

Yes, the ute was involved in the hit and run. These two idiots are going to the big house hopefully for quite some time. I believe the guy they hit is doing okay.

The ute? Well, to tell you the truth when my wife and I arrived on the scene, naturally the cops weren't going to let us too close even after telling them who we were. By the time we had arrived one of the two offenders had alreadly been caught and taken away, but the other offender was on the loose and in the process of being tracked down by the dog squad so they really didn't want us too close to the action. As these idiots ended up in an area where there was no way out, the other was caught reasonably fast.

At that point we could only see that there had been a fair bit of damage done to the back end of the ute. Couldn't see the front. After all the drama had settled down we could then get in to have a closer look.

The back of the ute (driver's side) is caved in. The tub, tailgate and hard lid will all need to be replaced. The front bar will need to be replaced as well. To our amazement only one rim has been damaged (these guys were mounting footpaths along their way). Four new tyres as well. The car will need a full mechanical, rotors and brake linings checked.

My brother in law works night shift. Where he works, he goes to the main depot, goes off from the depot and is out on the road all night. So he had just arrived back at the depot and he was alone. No other work mates around. We figure these two characters that stole his car were casing the joint, saw that he was alone and jumped into action. They got their hands on his car keys, thankfully not his house keys as he keeps his house keys on a separate keyring (he doesn't like putting too much weight on his ignition). At the time he thought he heard something, but figured it was one of the other guys arriving at work but no two scum taking off in his car. As we said to him, he was probably pretty lucky in some respects. As these two characters have such a serious record we said lucky they didn't come at you, they could have beat you to a pulp or worse.

This vehicle has a great deal of sentimental value to its rightful owners. Unfortunately it was uninsured at the time of its theft. As a result the owners are offering a $20,000 reward to any person who comes forward with information leading to its recovery. All parties can remain anonymous!

The Grecian Gold XW GT featured a sunroof, 5 slot wheel and was in excellent order. The car was stolen from a driveway at Forest Rd Yowie bay NSW, between 3:30 and 3:50 am on the morning of January 10, 2011. Three persons were caught on CCTV strapping the rear of the GT to their station wagon dragging it out of the drive, down Attunga Rd toward the Yowie Bay boat ramp.
Assistance leading to the vehicles recovery will be duely rewarded.

Hey guys, mates car got stolen, and was later found burnt out minus the rims (poor bugger got hospitalized just for a set of 20s )

Anyway if someone around Sydney see's a set of cheap 20" Genuine HSV wheels to suit Pre-VE with brand new Tyres, with possibly some gutter damage (bloke mounted the gutter on his way out), send me a PM or best bet would be to give the info to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
This style wheel:

Not mine or anyone I know, however its someones pride and joy so anyone around Sydney keep an eye out - it'll be easy spotting I think with that paint!

Default STOLEN!!! EL Fairmont Ghia fully loaded

My cousins EL Fairmont Ghia was stolen from Richmond,Vic a few weeks ago. It was found in Campbellfield last week stripped of everything.

The car was a heritage green EL Fairmont Ghia, 19" Typhoon Copies, full original bodykit, sunroof, fresh paint, chrome handles, mint leather, etc.

The bastards took everything that had any value off of it and actually replaced the bumper/mirrors/etc with ****** ones. If anyone has heard anything or comes across someone that miraculously came across a heap of fairmont ghia goodies then please let me know.

My metallic blue XC Falcon with tan vinyl roof stolen from Greenlane, Auckland (NZ) on Friday 4th of March. It's a 6 cylinder, auto on column, tan interior, running on LPG. It had a few minor dents, and the paint was a bit patchy, but many of the mechanicals were new or rebuilt, and it was my daily
transport. Rego ID4119, vin MA54SL80047. All original, standard steel
rims (black), no hubcaps. Any info please call Marc on 0064 21 413 537 (021 413 537 from NZ), or e-mail suburbanite100@hotmail.com. Cheers.

P.S. This sort of **** really sucks.
