Yeah that's what I thought, is it absolutely necessary to do a burnout every time to take off?

Another thing that frustrated me in the game besides the wheelspin was those few seconds after you knock over a pursuit breaker, the car is under computer control (while it shows the donut collapse, gas pumps explode, etc.). The car returns to my control and I discover the computer has just driven my car over a spikestrip.
I just finished all the challenge series races. I like how about halfway through them, you start driving traffic and cop cars (although you are still trying to avoid being arrested). It's good fun driving through roadblocks in a cement truck. I've now unlocked all the cars in quick race mode. What does the Black Edition have over the normal Most Wanted?

If you don't want to do a burnout at the start of a race, don't press accelerate until the 1 comes up. No one says you have to hold it on from the start!!! _

Another thing I've noticed is that if you want to go like 50k the game will stop the car for you, so it really is impossible to obey the law at all.

i dont know if any1 has noticed but if you dont want to do burnout at the start u need to get perfect shift !!! wen u accelerate watch the tacho needle it will change to blue thats the point were u need to keep the needle at or close then see the car fly of the line.............. also you can change the performance options and choose better handling by moving the slider to the right which makes the car slide less better handling !!!

feathers- really? i would have thought it would have been easy to nail perfect shifts and stuff at the start of races and what not. and actually feather the throttle on take off if wheelspin occurs.

Though like I said, maybe I just need more practice with it.

Feathers - if you went back and started the game over, it probably wouldn't be too hard. It's hard to change part way through because you're facing more difficult racers and trying to get used to the wheel.

kapn- thats pretty good. that was my first chase with the suv things though, that werent in a road block. cause i was up to black list 10 at the time. either way, i dont think it was THAT hard. the hardest part was getting yourself unstuck if you spun the camaro. and thats when i'd get busted.
