Hi Phil,

The part number you supplied is actually an engineering number, this corresponds to service part AR2Z8C609AB.

They are obsolete, but may be still some around. Let me check and get back to you.

Hey Phil,

Managed to track one down, did not realise they were so expensive @$770 plus postage/freight if required.

Let me know if you would like me to organise for you.

Interestingly these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/23560604...Bk9SR46xlK23ZA look extremely similar to these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/37558034...Bk9SR46xlK23ZA and https://www.ebay.com/itm/37529034831...Bk9SR7KF3q23ZA Might be worth trying.

Hey mate,

Will have to do a bit of research on this as I really have Ford info.

If they are the same as Mazda, Ford injectors are around $1000 each and washers are seperate at around $4.20 each.

I dont have bosch equivalent numbers or bosch numbers at all.

Warranty for manufacturing defect is 12 month/20K kms.

Let me check with a Mazda contact and get back to you.

Hi GT
Looking at taking the challenge to do the REAR suspension bushes in my Mar/2009 SY1 Territory RWD. (BIG job I know)
Can you help me with part numbers and pricing on these please: and if they are sold as each or pairs.
- Upper Control Arm - Inner Bush
- Upper Control Arm - Outer Bush/cross axis ball joint
- Lower Control Arm (also called toe arm?) - Inner Bush
- Lower Control Arm (also called toe arm?) - Outer Bush/cross axis ball joint
- The other lower control arm that carries spring - Inner bush
- The other lower control arm that carries spring - Outer bush/cross axis ball joint
- Control blade bushes
- The 3 diff bushes (do they come as a set, or each? ... and from what i can tell the outer two bushes are the same on all models, but the middle one seems to have a few different ones?
I can send you my vin if that helps.
Appreciate your help.

Hi mate,

So, I think the easiest way to avoid confusion if for you to write the part numbers from below images of the suspension you want and we can go from there. Let you know if we need a VIN later pending on what we come up with.

Mate! So quick! I went back to edit the post and by the time I'd finished you'd already replied!
Here's the numbers off your diagrams...

Upper Control Arm Bushes
5B639A
5A659A

Lower Control Arm (Toe Arm) Bushes
5A659B
5B659B

Other Lower Control Arm Bushes
5B638
There appears to be a bush missing on the diagram - goes on the bolt/nut between 5R649A & 5N649A - I'll see if i can attach a pic from the workshop manual.

Control Blade Bush
5A638

Diff Bushes
4B424
4B425 (this is the one I think can be different across models)

Thanks!

Hi Mate,

There were a few variations in front shocks on the FPV's, do you have the genuine shocks in the car? if so can you advise what colour label or part number is at the bottom of the shock. If not I can try and narrow down from a VIN.

We can go from there.

If my information is correct, you should have purple/white label on bottom of your shocks, they had replacement shock part number 8R2Z18045JB.

Obsolete now from what I can see.

Thanks Mate, I appreciate you going to that trouble. I was thinking today that if they are NLA I will have a discussion with Koni about valving a set as close to the original spec as possible....I do like the way the car handles.
