Yes, I reckon you're right.

Think its this one that was sold in Melbourne.

A 63' "Town and Country" is almost the same, I note the round tail lights of the 63 against diamond shaped tail lights of the 64 wagons.

Good bit of digging - but also a little sad to see all the overpainted fasteners and clips. A “Maaco Preferred” paint job?

Interesting gauges and with a moon tacho which looks identical to an early 60's Kenworth Pyrometer.

Seen a few Holden one-tonners lately. Just after midday, a super-tidy one with WB Statesman front, in that metallic sage green colour. Uplifting to look at.

How come the front number plate doesn't fit the space in the bumper? I also don't like the wheels nor the side skirts, would look better in factory spec, tbh.

Only 159 Ford Probes left registered in Australia. Out of 2,000 sales that means only 8% are left.

Hmm I didnt actually notice that but now you mention it ill check.

Yes the wheels are a bit much but they will go, I have a set of Evo 8 Enkeis to replace.

The kit is actually factory spec, I have the front lip but previous guy had it off to be repainted as it was getting scuffed. Ill pop that back on, its period and fine for what I want to do with the car.

From factory they had a metal bracket for the number plate to bolt to and space it from the bumper, you usually don't notice the indent in the bumper when the plate is attached with it.

Being a import the indent is for the Japan shaped plate, depending where in the world they are exported to, the bracket varies from a metal bracket to a plastic numberplate base for the Euro stuff

Euro plate Riser or Plinth

Yes they have been popular for a long time and fair enough they are a good rim but yes you pay for it.

I can get a set of EVO8's for less than $1k so thats not bad...but I may stick with 18's for this car as it opens up tyre choice. Which is a shame as I am happy with 17

Yep fair enough! i used cheap ATT 16" forged GTR's & then 17" Evo Enkei's as track day wheels.

With the RPF1"s, it was cheaper to source from the U.S. than here or Japan, back when our $ was on par.... Nice condition Brembo calipers cheap as well!

Nice one, I've noticed a couple competing in our local Tarmac sports series. Should serve the purpose well.
