My only gripe with the current interior is that the steering wheel doesn't go high enough. I can't see the top of the Speedo in ours. I assume this won't be changing with the new model?

I seriously think the only sheet metal changes will be the bonnet and boot lid. (like the Focus facelift for example) But I think they will be effective changes. I think that dual angel eye design is for XR's it is their way of continuing on the theme. Mercedes did the same thing for the E-Class facelift. |

Yes only sheet metal will be bonnet and bootlid. The way the new tailights run around the same on the guards just that the bumper is adjusted up.

Does the "neon strip" you refer to look anything like the new Kia Sorento rear light when lit up? These are just bad google pictures i could find, but they look very nice at night in person.

hey,
I think some(BMW) call them third gen led but most ppl think along the line of the way the headlights are done or the rear on the wm stato if you just said led neon is the simplest way of saying two leds projected into a tube in taillights spyman |

Anyone remember the small sticker that adjourned the left hand rear quater vent window of Falcons in the 80's?
"Built with pride by the people of Ford Australia" I think it would be a small but wonderfull tribute to all the hard working employees who have made this the last of a long line possible. It's certainly something that held pride of place on my EA many years ago when I had it |

Always thought being able to steer the wheel with your thighs in a Falcon along the highway was the best part of driving a Falcon. Compared to a Camry where you feel like a bus driver with the wheel facing straight up

I know that was tongue in cheek but I think being able to see the speedo is more important especially since you can be in licence loosing territory very quickly in the turbo.

I love the independence of the digital speedo either having the wheel low or high so you can rest your fingertips on the dash while you drive can we stop talking about this car now it's gonna make me poor.
