Thanks for the warm welcome guys, should get the fez in around two days... my uncle is detailing it for me....sweet. cant wait. :
I'm not sure what the proper etiquette for posting is, but i was just curious about the exhaust systems done on the fiesta's... Is a 2" cat-back the go, and do i need a resonator on as well? I'm thinking of getting stainless or chrome tips too... Definetely don't want a massive Milo tin at the back... And lastly, anyone know a good exhaust place in Melb/Vic? Sorry bout all the questions. cheers. |

You would be alot better off spending the money on getting some decent speakers not buying hundreds of $50 strathfield car radio speakers.

well, even after looking at hundreds of fiesta pics and reading about them in numerous reviews and on these forums...i'm really godamn impressed. i've already had my first moment of fiesta greatness (not letting a new mini cooper-s up the side of me on a long sweeping freeway entrance, he thought he had me done and dusted...but the fez had other ideas...)
I'll post some pics up tommorrow. It's all still stock, has 16"mp3's and fiesta mats, but thats about it so far. |

Nice one Jim, looks good in silver. I too came from a Pug 306, 95 1.8 petrol. Very good cars, handle well. It just started to break down too often.
I think your first mod should be clear side indicators. Focus ones are about $65, but you can get cheaper ones.

Cheers man.
yeah, the pugs were great, but come fixing/servicing time it was pretty pricey for parts. I'll definetely do the side repeaters, the orange ones stick out like the dogs. i was bidding on ebay for some, lost them in the last second. Bought some white LED's for the parkers today, gonna order some Phillips Diamond Vision online for the main beams. I love how the parkers are set up further in the housing, looks fresh. speaking of servicing, how much does a general and/or major set you back when you get it done for the Fez? |

Was that the 30k service? My 15k service was about $120 I think.

got tints on the fez on monday, along with my mates who run a 97' Peugeot 306 XSI and a 2006 2.0 Golf FSI. The fez looks A LOT better, and the golf looked awesome. Peugeot looked really nice with the contrast against the white paint.
sorry bout before and after pics being a bit dodge. before: After:

Nice one Crispy. Change the stripes to green ones on the side to match the MkII. That would make a neat pair of hot Fords.

Welcome to the forum, man. After market panel filters such as BMC & K&N do make abit of a difference. Power delivery is smoother, also engine has abit of an extra kick to it above 3500rpm.
I dont think the power difference would shave ETs though. |

Welcome to the club Brave Face.
As for the filter, I don't remember what the standard one was like because I changed it the first week. I think it'd make a bit of difference & certainly worth doing, a little louder too. Fairly cheap too since they don't actually wear out. Give it a go. KJ
