Great movie, enjoyed very much!
But soooo blooody loooong. Have problems with my knee and 2 1/2 hours sitting like that does it no good at all. Agree with calls that fight scenes were too close up... couldnt help but wonder if it eases the use of the graphics technology. US Marine finishing his duty in 2 weeks, wife and bubs at home etc etc VERY unoriginal and probably the most disappointing aspect of the movie... almost forgot i was watching transformers and thought i might have been seeing an espisode of 'over there'. Almost go so far as to say it was trite. However, they didnt play that plot too hard so all is forgiven. Love story was actually *fairly* well wrapped into the movie. It didnt come across as a tacky add on to the plot. Anyone else get the impression the end just leaves things wide open???? Without giving too much away, i remember the deceptocons having a large tower out at sea in the original cartoon...

Was good the second time. Made a little more sense in the faster scenes and I actually cared a little when Jazz died this time. Though that parts still an anti-climax, lol. |

another megan fox pic Great movie i thought...Barricade and Bumblebee had an awesome scene...i have the sudden urge to sell my SS and buy a camaro...and yes there is a voltron movie being made, as well as he-man which was already mentioned...but transformers has the green light for another 2 movies - so galvatron will appear, Prime will die and roddimus will be born i presume |

That was one awesome film.
Look out for two Holden Monaros (aka Pontiacs), a yellow one and a black one that get destroyed. Yellow one chopped up and black one flipped during a battle scene - tail lights and shape should help you spot them.

Saw it today.. gets this old buggers 100% double thumbs up. As a fan of the originals I can say that they did not stuff it up at all. It was better than I hoped.. and I hoped for a lot.
Oh, and to be 15 years younger again.. Mmmmm, Megan!

I apologize for mining this thread.
But for those who are interested I found a script of the next movie Transformers 2 that 'apparently" was leaked. Not sure if its fake or not. But its an interesting read, and it makes for an exciting sequel. http://www.scribd.com/doc/488495/Tra...nt-1007-Leaked

yeah perhaps this script is fake, still it seems a plausible one and an enjoyable read nonetheless.
