I'm gonna chuck mine, down, see how i go in the next couple of months.

To Do
Exterior: Bodykit, Fix Up Wheels, Some De-badging, Fix up some slight marks, Give it a good detail, new exhaust tip
Interior: Find some XR Seats, New Custom Car Mats, Alloy Pedals
Sound: Get DVD, Screen, Amp put in
Performance: Fix up some little things, new leads, plugs, extractors, g&d intake
Suspension: Replace lows with superlows, after the bodykit. Get a rear sway bar, and change the rear bushes

Thats about it. Should get most of that done, within 6 months I hope lol.

Damn, so much. And then there's what I want to do!

Need Fairmont side bolsters, fix my console lid, finish painting some interior trim, new door trims and power windows, extractors, do something 'custom' with my zorst, diff... Ahhh and then there is a billion things I dream of (blower, fix up the paint, new audio system etc).

Do you ever wonder if it's all a waste of money?
Got the new pan on the tranny, Wade cam was installed by John_xr6, thermos are yet to be sorted out properly, alternator is fixed, rattle is gone, tow bar is gone, boot install hasn't changed.

Fitted Fairmont side bolsters, got a replacement lid, finished painting interior trim but I will be changing that anyway, door trims and power windows went out the window (no time, not enough money back then), still thinking about extractors, custom zorst to be figured out, no money for a diff.

Annnnd a 1/3 of the way through a T5 conversion. Fitted front Konis, currently fitting a camber kit, got new wheels...

I don't think I've done too bad.

Planned: finish T5 and camber kit, most-likely be getting a Yellow Top Optima battery, lower the back a bit more (after seeing if Konis in the bum will affect the height), extractors, head work, maybe a chip and lumpier cam if all that gets done. I'm also contemplating an EF donk....

RB30ET power LJ torana should go fairly well with 300 odd rwkw :

Going to be mainly a drag car with some street duty and fully engineered to boot!

Should be ready for the drag strip by December I imagine.

I might start looking for E series tow car soon too so Im not banished. :gren:
Hmm, I bought the LJ with an RB30 in it. Now I have an LC coupe that Im transferring everything over to.

Ive got a 6BOOST manifold, GT3540, Tial wastegate, wolf 3d V4 and 600*300 cooler in my room.
Waiting delivery is a rajab intake manifold, 600cc injectors, billet fuel rail, 044 bosch fuel pump, oil and water lines for the turbo and a decompression plate so I can pump big boost into it before I build a more serious engine.

This weekend I plan to finally put the engine into the coupe, put the fuel system in and wire it all up so it can run.

Then comes the turbo gear, piping for intercooler and exhaust and wolf install. Then its time to finish the paint off and go racing hopefully in time for the Jan AFF heathcote meet.

T5 is in, camber kit is in, bought an Optima Blue Top instead (bit better), new decent 17" tyres.

My ultimate aim is to just have it running smooth with a 14-second pass. I'll be aiming to do the following:
Whiteline trailing arms in the next couple of weeks
Some new bushes (swaybar mounts etc) in the next couple of weeks
Still want some Konis (and probably ultra lows)
Extractors
Maybe some sound-deadening and finish the stereo
Headwork/chip/bigger cam/AU donk if I feel I should waste the money

Well yeah I did that. Had it a year now and it's been pretty much stock up until last week. About 6 months ago I had some mods in mind;

New wheels - Yup, done.
Explorers/TB - Pulling the HOs off on Tuesday, everything's ready to go pretty much.
Exhaust - Done last week.
Thermos - Got the fans last year or something, will fit them next week.
Lowering - Next pay day.
GT40Ps, cam, RRs, valve springs - Got the GT40Ps, will put it all in once I've got the cash for the rest.

And one or two other minor things that will be taken care off over the next few weeks.

That'll do it for a while. Next on the list after that is probably Tweecer, auto mods, stereo, maybe an NL interior, maybe a boot install, maybe a paintjob, maybe another loan.

The list as it stands now:

Get a RWC and rego - should be next week or the following.
Get a new front bar - Will be ordered this week.
Replace my bonnet with a stock one.
Fit some 15in stockies to replace the XF fairmont rims.

Get a bigger intercooler- will be ordered when I receive the bar.
Retint the windows.
Fit my crane ignition system.
Get a turbo grind Cam and valve springs.
Turn the boost up and see how she goes.
Get an adapter made to fit my GT3540 and tial gate or a new manifold.
Fit the turbo and gate and get a new dump pipe made.
Turn the boost up.
Fit up my Bosch 044 pump and surge tank if I have fueling problems.
Get some 18's and maybe a paint job.
Rip out the motor and clean up and paint the engine bay.

Under the bonnet I got the Pacemaker extractors and just a single 2.5" exhaust from the cats back. Not sure about getting all that Trickflow stuff now, maybe just upgrade to explorer manifolds and see how that goes.

For the interior I haven't done anything. I will eventually upgrade the stereo, but that won't be happening any time soon.

I don't think I originally posted in this thread, but my planned mods at the time were:
Lowering - not done
Clear indicators - done
new front speakers - not done
Extractors and exhaust - not done
Replace lower dash - done
Paint all the faded plastic - not done but should be happening soon
17 or 18" rims - not done, still riding on turboblades

Well, that's pathetic efficiency. It took a year to change my indicators, and it's still stock

My plans were to get a car full stop, then when I got my EA the plans were:

- Lowering DONE
- Stockies DONE
- Clear indicators DONE
- System DONE
- Exhaust DONE
- Extractors
- Cam DONE
- Minispooled diff with 3.9's
- BA 18" GT wheels

and that would have been it, I wanted to run a 14 NA, then I had my accident so my plans went to **** all the money I had saved for wheels had to go on excess and I was broke. Then my plans were:

- Get the dent in my car fixed DONE
- Sell everything I don't really need off it DONE

Not getting wheels, extractors or the diff anymore but I got better plans which you guys will probably see at the cruise on the 16th!

The main ones I'd like to do are the AUII front suspension conversion, AU IRS or live axle, I haven't decided either way yet, some new wheels in AU offset, a rebuilt BTR, a manifold/cam/heads package, some interior re-designing, using dark grey and black suede/leather, and some more stereo gear, with a better looking boot installation.

Oh, and a Dart blocked, AFR 205 headed, 429W stroker with twin GT35's (when I win x-lotto) lol
Well I've sussed how to fit the front and rear suspension, and bought another car to drive while the EF is off the road, so I'm slowly working towards the AUII suspension. Replaced the BTR, put in a 2500stall and AU S5, ported E7 heads w/ 351w valves, painted/carpeted some of the interior, and re-mounted everything in the boot to make it a bit neater.

Last time I checked, there was still no Dart block or GT35R's to be seen.

I have an ED Fairmont, and I've done;

- T5 Conversion
- Extreme Clutch
- 3.45LSD from an EBII XR6
- Pacemaker Extractors
- Wade 1004 112 Cam
- New brakes all around
- New Tyres
- New Radiator
- Radius Rod Bushes

I've pretty much finished the car to how far i can go with the funds available. If I feel like I need to, I will go a chiptorque + 1521a if i win some money or something :P

I want a 14.xx, so hopefully i'll run it.
