FG F6 runs a lower 8.47:1 compression ratio as well (xr6t/g6et run 8.8:1 compression)

Forget 310. Last ever box of F6 turbochargers has already been ordered and they will all be used up by May. No more 310.

So what do they do if they have to replace one under warranty? Order it in as needed?

Yes just because they don't have any at Geelong doesn't mean they dont have them at Spare parts.
Who remembers the T 250 Series stroker motor they had sitting at the Tickford plant until about 5 years ago?

Bugger all. The bigger turbo and injectors would be the same cost, pistons might be a little dearer and then there is the oil cooler and bit bigger intercooler. I'd say maybe $500 at the most based on how cheap Ford get the parts for. Such a wasted opportunity to do a performance pack, charge say 5k for it and rake in the profit. They are so short sighted, but then again they dont really want to sell Falcons, it might keep the factory open to 2016 which they dont want.

Looks just like the standard mkII xr/gs bar, just the photo has been taken a bit higher so the angle looks funny.

Anyone know approx how many more F6's to rollout
between now & closure, & my bet is the FH XR6T will use the ol' reliable 270kw, cheaper to make & easier on the drive train so less warranty issues & the 310kw will become part of Aussie muscle car history as our hottest ever home grown 6pack |

I don't think it is, I think he was just referring to a more powerful engine beating up on the driveline.

Yes sedans come with an on roof antenna, as per all the other pics. Something to do with Micorsoft Sync I think!

Still thinking this is the best thread on AFF in years. Don't want to read 84 pages, then don't! The mind thinks of all of the possible things Ford could do with this last Falcon. Then the likely reality of boardroom discussions hits home! I will continue to enjoy the last ever thread about a new Falcon and all the haters can keep on keeping on.
Excitement level. HUGE!
