G'day guys, I still don't get it, and it seriously bugs me. In the tease video, it clearly shows the Hook DRL's as one of the key features on the new Falcon, but so far I have seen no evidence of it on any of the testing prototypes. Unless it's only on the XR8, not any of the other XR models. As on this testing model it shows a strip of LED's running at the bottom of the headlamp, unless the tape is hiding the hook shape or something? And the test version is clearly an XR model.

Only the XR's will get the twin DRL's it seems. If they haven't Bern seen on any mules, it's likely.none of the mules captured were XR's then.
It could be XR8 specific, but it seems like more of a new interpretation of the XR twin lights than something to differentiate the top model. |

Just looking at the new focus sedan and it seems to have similar front end treatment to the preview pics of the FH falcon.

i'm just going to say it.. i hate the way they've swapped and made the upper grille huge and the lower grille small - i know it's the final step in blending it into the 'family' image but i think it looks crap (for a falcon). I reckon they should have let it go out on its own styling which was certainly not that config.
it'll still probably be a good car, just expressing my opinion. |

I disagree. The big lower grille had to go, it was what the global SUV styling was leading to and looked like FOA had jumped the gun putting it on.
