Default Hot laps in Melbourne.

Hi all, I will be in sunny old mexico in May for my nephews 21st. For a gift I was thinking of a few laps at Calder??? in a racing falcon . Are there any palces that can do this?? He is a bit of a car lover and loves his falcon. I will probably take him out for a spin in my XR8 as well. :eclipsee_

Thaks in advance.... OBJ.

Bah, take him along the Western Ring Road at peak hour. This will give him more of a thrill.

Yeah check out Danny's links above mate, and also search for those, a few blokes have started threads on it. I did one late last year, not bad for what they are, no speed demons but a bit of fun on slicks and good brakes

Would be good if all uncles did that!

You can purchase an in-car video of the laps too, but it's not much chop. It changes automatically from driver view to front view of the road every 15 secs or so but for $40 or so you dont get to see much. Probably better getting a good vantage point from the grandstand with a decent vid camera and getting him going around the track
