Default An e-mail I got from JMM

I enquired about an Air Intake system through JMM because I hate the open pod filter in the ute.

It basically said that I should enclose it, and that they have a DEV Hi Flow Intake Kit. Cost is $190 plus freight.

Has anyone else got this, and what is it like? I just want to justify the $190.

Yup, I have it. Worth every cent IMHO.

Brenden fitted mine, took him about a minute to glue the filter base on, left it to set for an hour, then just attached the filter.
The piping up to the elbow was already on my car (custom made that is identical to the JMM one)
So yes, its a breeze.

OK then. When I get an e-mail back from them, I'll get them to send me one. Just gotta put the airbox back in and go from there.

Casper, is it the piping from the throttle body to the airbox ? What's exactly is included in the $190 ?

I'm not 100% sure as the filter was fitted when I got the whole exhaust done and the piping was not done on mine as I had something in place. I do know on Kermit's car (he got a "Casper Kit" for his VCT) the extra piping is from the airbox lid to the first elbow, not all the way to the throttle body. Same as what is on mine but mine isnt an JMM one.

The full sized one from the airbox lid to the throttle body is NOT what is in this kit.

That's OK. I don't need the whole thing. Don't know about loxxr6 though. I haven't heard anything back from them yet, so I'll keep people interested informed.

I have an adaptation of the Casper kit. 3" pipe from the elbow to the lid, then through the lid with a pod attached, and enclosed by the lid.
