I have had a look at the wiring diagrams here but cannot locate the temp sensor that would activate the cooling fans on the radiator. My fan/s will be on after 3 minute drive down to the shops, so I am assuming that there is a temp sensor and that the sensor may be faulty. Air con is off, no traffic etc so no reason for the fan/s to be cooling. So my plan is to locate the sensor and disconnect it before a short drive and see if that kills the fan

There was a post kinda like this a few days ago - how long between dirves is your fans coming on after 3 mins; how hot is it outside; how hilly is it; what is your temp gauge showing?
Alot of ppl worry that their fans are coming on for no reason and worry about it, trust me, you only need to worry if they don't come on.

While your at it, it may pay to replace the thermostat as they are a common cause of this problem if they are stuck shut or not opening fully. Do a forum search beforehand as there was a thread on this very problem (thermostats) recently because some brands are not suitable for the AU.

Stone cold before I drive it, not high ambient and temp gauge shows "normal"
