Default A Bouquet

I'm not usually enamoured with the various machinations of software houses and their usual cavalier attitudes toward quality control and customer service.

It has come as a pleasant surprise therefore to have received outstanding service and support from a software vendor and I consider their actions to be worthy of public praise.

The vendor concerned is Cyberlink - makers of the Power Producer, Director etc. range of products that you often see bundled as SE versions with various digital still and video cameras.

I had noted in an earlier thread that I had been unable to get Power Director to function after a recent upgrade to the current version and they have been diligently offereing suggestions for potential solutions over the last few weeks. Not only do they seem to make one individual responsible for dealing with the issue (a novelty in itself) but when their technical people hadn't found a solution they provided me with an alternate product from their range with similar fuinctionality which does work.

In my book this is a fine example of standing behind their product and providing excellent levels of customer service. Well done Cyberlink.

Cheers
Russ

Nice, it is always good when a provider can work with a customer to provide a solution to what can sometimes be a messy situation.

Onya Russ, just goes to show how much we love to bag someone out, if this was a thread about lousy service you would have had 50 replies to your thread in even less minutes but here you are praising a company, which we don't do often enough, and you have only 2 replies in two days. : keep up the good work for the forums to thanks Russ. :
