What a cracking story. There was a similar car to that in a recent issue of Australian Muscle Car in Wild Violet.

I always find "as found" or "totally original" cars way more interesting than "better than new" resto jobs.

For me at least, once I've seen one XW/XY Falcon GT, I've seen them all. They are all the same, always spotless and meticulously maintained, not much individuality between them - but this, this is something different. That car's got real character that it has inherited from it's former owner. Great story.

Totally agree with this, there also seems to be more history attached to these kind of cars as well. Like they said in the story " You only have an original car once, but you can restore as many times as you like"
