The dash is interesting.. Personally I'd only settle for an 8 unless the I6 engine had some horn turbo setup with a shiny front-mount to be different.

I like it, wonder if it has enough clearance for a twin cam. Hate the interior though, should have left it original or changed the gauges to some Dakota digitals...

You know that more of those Mustangs were sold with a 6cyl than the V8s dont you? ;)

Ive thought about doing that too (with a Turbo), but to a later model Stang, one from the 80s.
If it was a fastback id be seriously tempted in it...

Exaclty!

A BA DOHC in only old school car would be awesome. Retro is very cool. You get the looks you want with the performance and driveability of a new engine.

The dash I am not to sure about, would have left that myself, but it doesn't look that bad.

whiles its a V8 I know, one of the sites sponsers are putting a BOSS 290/260 (cant remember) in a 60's stang!

Not a fan, hate the dash, and the dual exhaust.

I'm suprised that this type of conversion is not done more often to a mustang.

yeah im not a fan an old skool muscle car like that needs a v8 a 6 of any sort just doesnt cut it in my eyes.
