Default Old Kiwi Hilux ads

Now this is how a 4wd should be advertised. Not driving on a smooth road or on gravel.

Awesome adverts!!! Tons of fun!!!

However...those vehicles are being driven "furiously" and "recklessly"...

Can't have that...

For instance, remember this very short lived advert for the Magna AWD sedan...? Stayed on TV about a fortnight before being pulled..."being driven furiously"...

And for christs sake, don't expect to see the amazing advert (only seen in cinemas) for the Peugeot 206GTi anniversary model which starts out with a section of a classic 205GTi advert and then segues into a modern advert which is like a Bond film...

That's how you advertise a car...

Come to that, can you even see a car advert these days being allowed on TV that showed a Falcon swerving quickly through a series of slaloms around actual people...?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lb4sZJz2ww

And this advert for the then-new Holden Radial Tuned Suspension...all the cars are being driven far too vigorously...
