Default LW focus horn pad rubber sticky

Hey everyone have a LW focus and have noticed the rubber on the centre of the airbag is starting to go sticky to touch.. any idea how to fix this other than replace the entire airbag... thanks!

gave it a go it worked great! Not sure how long until the rubber goes sticky again, but definitely a result. Thanks
