Default Post count reduction.

This is no big deal, but I'm sure that I had about 1811 posts a couple of days ago and when I got on the forums last night, it was showing 1780 odd : ...anyone else lost some posts overnight?

Have you checked whether all your recent posts are still there and that the threads still exist?

post count means bugger all but what if some of his posts got deleted that were usefull which would also cause his postcount to go down.

Sometimes threads get deleted for whatever reason and that causes your posts to be deleted too. I'd say alot of the threads you've posted in were crap and got deleted.

Happened with me to, I'd just say some old threads were deleted, or some new ones which were not worth keeping were deleted.

Nope

If crap threads are started and stupid posts are made then yes!

Every now and then we will run an update on post counts based on where the thread ends up, aka deleted item threads with posts

Laminge is correct, from time to time (including this week) we update the post counters and threads that were deleted then reduce the post count of all who contributed in them.

Cheers
