Cool XB GT on AUS DRAMA

hay all

i am know i am going to get flamed big time here...

but last night my MISSES (not me) was watching HOME AND AWAY and some young bloke on there bought a XB GT off the local TIP...

he is plaining to restore it back to its glory ...

anyone else see thins ?????

Looked like the coupe was in good nick for a 'tip find'

I can go one better.... I actually had my XBGT coupe on H & A many years ago when Danni Minogue was in the series .... it was such a laugh to watch the look on their faces when I had to do a Burnout with Danni in the car ....she was going off at me because she didn,t think an old FORD could do one .....showed her ..... ...Anyway it was the only time I ever watched the show ......

Home and away got it wrong, its an XA GT. Yes looks way to good for a tip find, but good to see there putting classic muscle cars in there show.

Yeah it looks like a very complete car in good nick that they have thrown some dust on and taken a door and panel off. Does anyone know the car or owner?

you'd be forgiven, as they even said XB in the show, with reference to Mad Max Interceptor.

Definately an XA. Could be wrong, but i dont think the XB's came out in that Lime Green colour either ?

Wonder who's car it is and how they feel for it to be referred to incorrectly.

I dont watch normal tv so i was fastforwarding the clip to find where i found the car then went back to see where it began then posted the min point of it

I also saw it... was flicking through getting ready to watch the news ... it grabbed my eye and I yelled at the Mrs to get out of the way of the telly ...
