Default Weekly Race 4 Real Report: 30th September 2015

Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!

Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.

Top Holden of the Week

Black wheels on a black car are a timeless combination that will never go out of fashion, this Clubsport from the HSV stables was no exception, looking good as it ran down the quarter for a cool 13.79 @ 107.4 MPH

Top Ford of the Week

Sticking with the black on black combo, this FG F6 was running consistent times all night with a best pass of 12.95 @ 110.0 MPH; certainly no slouch in our eyes!

Top Japanese of the Week

We love seeing first timers out on a Wednesday night, this R33 has been popping up at lots of meets but proved it’s no show pony by putting down some respectable times with a best pass of 16.01 @ 87.7 MPH

Top Rotary of the Week

The Mazda Rotary has come in many shapes and sizes throughout the years and although the little 323 hatch does not have sports car looks its best pass of 13.01 @ 109.6 MPH certainly gives it sports car speed.

Top European of the Week

The Mercedes C63 has proven itself as a real contender down at the drags on a Wednesday night, this time sharing the fun between two drivers and putting down a solid 11.83 @ 118.47 to round out its night.

Commentators Pick of the Week

Commentators pick of the week goes to this tidy little Mini Cooper S, it stood out due to its original condition and period sporting looks. Taking home a fastest time of 16.44 @ 81.73.

Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM. Check our website for T&C’s and entry information.

Next Race4Real is this Wednesday 7th October 2015. See you there!
