I wonder if they realize that someone taking off as per normal doesnt count as a race.

ROFLMAO, it took me about 3 minutes to recover enough composure to reply. Thats is the saddest forum ever.
"I Beat a 1987 Camry" That is the saddest forum ever, the Lada owners forum would have less BS and have less delusional thoughts on it.

Those posts were the best examples I've seen of buyers trying to convince themselves that they'd made the right choice.

I think the guy racing the viper and the nsx was taking the p1ss. Either of those cars would destroy the prius in any gear at any time..

Must get some of those "Racing Hubcaps". Bahahahahahahaha. It would be pretty sad if you couldn't beat a 1987 Camry. Funniest forum ever!
And another thing, I get told to take my mudflaps off! The Prius club put them on and call it a mod! LOL.

Oh no, I'd better get one. I mean "an insane amount of torque off the line" to quote one poster. What a fool! My car produces more power and torque and it was built in 1989. Some people really do live in a dream world.

haha classic thread.
when i read the bit about the prius racing an NSX on the highway i had visions in my head of the NSX driver cruising at 110 and looking sideways at the prius passing 1kph faster in the right lane with the driver rocking backwards and forwards in the seat e scary stuff... |

Heh my dad owns a prius but at least he's realistic about it! He's an environmental consultant.. so his view is "It's slow, it's annoyingly slow, but it does the job it's meant to"...
He's got a V8 for weekends :P (he's a realistic greenie.. not a hippie.. we need to 'improve' our consumption and all that not cut it out completely) |

I think I could actually stop my bike, dismount, and light a cigerette (if I smoked) by the time the Prius crossed the line.
