While I have always believed the press mollycoddle GMH I have been a little bit cynical on how much so. Even when some blatantly obvious biased articles exist.

Well here we are with what compound it for me...

Have a look at that list and spot the odd one out. Ill give a tip, its local, has been around for a couple of years and has no technology that could be defined as "leading".

Its as if they deliberately post rubbish (evidence here) to get a reaction which IMO is more a reflection of where the media is in this country.

And I'm pretty sure the AU debuted with steering wheel shift buttons (in the T series)

OK they're not paddle shifters, but the concept is the same. Shifting gear without taking your hands off the wheel.

If you are a tradesman you need to get a license and serve an apprenticeship, how are these idiots ( writers, reporters, etc ) trained and held accountable ?

Their methods, proven hands down more effective then conventional methods,was tested in America first. They're half a generation ahead of the conventional tv priority so many think is the holy grail. Yet a poll on here even showed that hardly any of us even watch tv adds anyway......yet still the criticism.
But it's deeper then that. Falcon doesn't get advertised for a reason. If you can't work it out.....think harder or read some more.......

I don't watch TV but I don't buy cars because I see advertisments from a manufacturer either.

Explain why out of the current range the only thing selling in the top 10 is the Ranger?

I know why they don't advertise the Falcon and to be honest I don't care about the Falcon either.

Having lived most of my adult life in the US I can say with certainty there is a huge difference in the psychic of Yank consumers compared to Aussie ones.

To save everyone from having to search why not explain how Ford is advertising these days and why it is so successful in Australia or at least put up a link so we can read about it.

Yes but some believe that fords lack of tv advertising is the main downfall of fords sales and image in aus!
And I don't know exactly why fords don't fill more of the top spots in aus. As mentioned it's no doubt a collection of quite a few things.

As for fords alternative advertising methods....look it up yourself guys, if you really care about the subject. It's been covered here before and I've even posted links about it before(I'm on my iPad most of the time so can't post links unless I fire up the PC)....but honestly if you can't see fords recent change to advertising in alternative media types(like Facebook/utube) then your blind

And 701let I'm sure you can determine the difference between a method that is proven to be a success, and actually implementing it correctly. But as Loudpipes interestingly bought up, it was proven in USA, so perhaps it isn't as effective in aus. But I'd image they'd be stupid to not look at adapting any new program to local conditions as much as possible.
Maybe this is another one of the reasons all adding up as to why fords aernt selling as well as they should in aus!

Here's a new one from our mate Josh about the Dodge Ram being imported into Australia and New Zealand by HSV, priced around the 120k. Cant write an article without bagging out Ford, says Ford Australia stopped importing the F Series trucks back in 2007 can anyone remember Ford bringing them here cause I cant, must have been small numbers if they did.
