Congrats on the time BlackLS,
I was speaking to a mate of mine in the Motor racing industry today at Eastern Creek and we agreed that it's a pretty good time! BTW I was rummaging through some old mags and there's a test the mag did of a LS Zetec 4 Speed Automatic and its Standing 400m was 17.2 @ 133 km/hr.

P.S. I forgot to mention the test was conducted with an Ambient Temperature of 5 C.!!! Maybe not indicative of a "typical scenario".

Thanks Fast Eddie, leaving it how it is it standard its possible get into a late 15.9 with the perfect launch. 85-86mph indicates a 15.9-16 flat.
Once mods are started we'll see how it'll go. As a comparison, a Corolla Sportivo was running there as well and did a 15.6, and with supposed 131kw, there still not that quick. |
