Default Crushing Blow for Baldivis Hoons

Ouch:

Man I'd be so crushed if my $300 FWD burnout car was destroyed too.

Over it - no sympathy - meth heads, stoners have taken over a once nice quiet rural area, social experiment that went down the gurgler.

I understand the frustration on people living with and around hoons. But surely there is a better way to deal with all of this and to possibly sell peoples cars, raise money etc rather than crushing the cars.
What I disagree with is a car chirping into 2nd is treated in the same regard as these junky knobs doing massive burnouts doughnuts etc.

Welcome to the service economy
Probably $700-$800 transaction fee for each case too
It's a serious business when you do the math
Add the speeding ticket revenue in and nationwide probably a billion dollar income stream

What about crushing cars whose drivers dangerously while driving:

# use mobile phones

# surf the net on ipods/mobile phone devices

# tailgate and fail to keep a safe gap to vehicles in front

# Drive too fast in pedestrian areas /school zones even though they do not spin wheels or chirp

# drive while intoxicated

# Sit in left lane of motorways under speed limit causing frustration of other roadusers

Lets get real- fine and crush em all.....

I'd go with on the spot crushing of the mobile phones/ devices of those caught using them while driving.

Huh? They are supposed to keep left if they're not overtaking.

Unless you mean the right lane.

crush somebody's car for looking at a iPod or tailgating ? that is totally in acceptable and would hopefully result in armed resistance.

see hoon laws like this change what the public see as acceptable punishment, it warms them up for harsher things to come, its almost as ridicules as the TAC goal of no deaths on the road, humans are only mean for a top speed of 10 km/h to 15 km/h max, any faster and you will have issues.

Maybe when they impound the driver along with the car then their attitudes might change.
