Hey guys, i'll be joining the ranks of the Eseries'ers pretty soon but the car i'm buying has an insanely heavy clutch. We've decided it's the clutch cable and i need to replace it before i get it blueslipped. Where can i buy one?
Also - anyone got any pics for reference to changing the clutch cable? I've never done it before. Everyone loves pics so here's a pic of the gal. It's got the DJR kit on there with Sierra bonnet vents. 17 in Roh's, extractors and a full exhaust system. Mint interior too hopefully she'll be mine by mid-next week. Only bad point is there's alot of scratches but nothing major

You can order clutch cables through Autobarn, Repco, SuperDodgy etc etc.. should be about $50-$60.

have you tried other ED clutches?- my XH (i know its not ED) Had a extra heavy clutch, got used to it in the end. Just check if all clutches are as heavy as yours before replacing cable.

I ended up getting one from Bursons for $62.50 (trade price by accident hehe)
Yeah it's just a damn heavy clutch. Apparently it's light according to Sam at Street Fords who owns an EB XR8 hahah but it's still alot of effort in traffic. I'll get used to it. The clutch is new, the clutch cable is brand new and the gearbox has already been checked. The firewall has been reinforced and the pedal has been fixed as well.
