Default EOI - EF/EL Clear Tail Lights

Hey guys,
Who here is interested in buying a set of Altezza lights (clear tail lights) for EF/EL?

I might be able to organize a few sets for around $90-$100
I dont have any pics yet, but this thread is more or less to find out if there are any interested parties in buying a set, or maybe even setting up a group buy.

If we can get enough, i can find out a definate price, and get some pics up.

Anyone in the market for a set?

Ohh.. NOW you do this kinda thing :P The only problem with them is the globes discolour very quickly.
Ive found that there are LED globes that will fit in the holders, not sure how they go, havent bought them yet :P

I reckon whoever made 'em has a good brain for making lights but not for style. They should have just made clear repeaters for EF/EL GLi & Futura and made a lot more money.

I have LEDS in mine, bought them off www.brightlightautoparts.com Factory 19/15 Macquarie Place Boronia 3155

Changed my indicators as well

Not as bright as Std Globes but do the JOB and look AWESOME at night and don't Fade.

I could be interested in another set as I want to mod the housing so I can fit two sets of Leds instead of one for each light

They didn't really appeal to me 'til I saw 'em in the flesh on the back of a Heritage Green EF a couple of weeks ago. Up until then I only saw an EF with custom teal paint and they looked pretty average.

I'm down for a set.

im sorry but Altezza's should only be on rice rockets, they don't suit falcons or crummiedoor's for that matter, i personally think they look $hithouse on all cars

I get where you are coming from Baya, but these lights dont look like the run of the mill "altezza's". They are a nice simple clear all over light that I think looks quite classy...Not a crystal clear with that red in them that screams rice found on every lancer, civic etc. Thats why alot of us change those crappy orange side reperaters to the clear side repeaters, just looks more classy.
But, everyone to their own.

No they dont make them for wagons. I wanted a set for my wagon but they dont exist. You can fit EL tail lights. They have the clear indicators instead of amber

Ok guys here is the deal.

He will sell them to eseries members for $100 (for the set) They come with bulbs, ready to bolt in.
I went and checked them out properly today and they are very good quality.

Some of you asked about about LEDS instead of normal bulbs - he said he does not stock them, but will get them soon.

Put your name down if you are interested in a set. If we get a few people wanting them, I will sort out how you can pay and pickup/postage.

Blue Oval Motor Wreckers have just started selling these, and sell them for $120+

I think they definately make the back of the darker coloured cars look tougher, more mysterious. I don't want any airbrushing or stickers on my EL so this is one of the few mods I can do to the rear to make it look different to the rest of the ELs on the road. I liked the fact I couldn't tell what the EF I saw in the distance was straight away, and that's why I want some. The only altezzas I like.

I paid $200 about a year ago. One of the first batches made. Any EF/EL Fairy or Ghia will look great. I dont know why, but it seems to go with the chrome spear on the boot.
