Default unplugging radio

G'day all,

I have what is probably a very simple problem. Thanks to the Forum I have been able to pull the radio out of my au1 forte but am unable to disconnect the wiring harness from the back of it! Its a white plug and just will not budge. Can anyone tell me if there is a correct way to remove it or is it just in there tight. I dont want to force it and maybe damage the wiring. Any help appreciated!

Thanks

there should be a tab or something on the white plug, just push the tab in while you pull the plug out

yes you need to push the tab but if the radio has been there since new it will be tight to get out
