When I was towing my trailer back last weekend, intermitently on the way home, I heard a high pitched squealing noise that sounded like an electronic noise - not one that was meant to happen. Happened when aircon was turned on and off, radio wasn't turned on, but it kinda sounded like it was coming out of the speakers. Could it be interferance with the engine. But even if it was, why would it happen 1. when the radio is off, and 2. not all the time.

not %100 sure when it comes to this sorta stuff but what i immediatly thought of when i read the post is the fact that sometimes trailers are poorly wired, maybe your trailer was the cause, u know how u often see people towing trailers put on their indicators and they flash alot quicker than usual? loose wire or somethin, does it happen when u not towing a trailer at all?

speaker wires do seem prone to picking up electrical interferance , do you have an aftermarket sound system?
