Hello again.
I have another question about my laser. Sometimes when I takeoff I hear a loud `clunk` noise from the front and the car jolts, then driving off just fine. What could be causing it? Could it be the engine mounts? If so, which one is likely to be causing them problem and why? And do you think driving it with this problem is causing any damage to the vehicle? Thanks for your help. |

We had the same problem for many years in our KB auto - always thought it was an engine mount as otherwise it would be the auto and many $$$$. Sold the car with the intermittent thump. Try jacking the engine up whilst inspecting the mounts as they may have sheared.....or grab hold of the engine and try to rock violently.
