Default Inverell Transport Museum

I visited this Museum in January 08, took some shots.
See some examples:

This is a huge display considering the size of the Town.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

i was there last month. there is an awesome amount of vehicles considering the size and location of the town. it was here that i saw a xt sport coupe (2 door xt falcon from the US). they change displays fairly regularly too. unfortunantly the shed is not ideal for taking photos though.

sorry to hi-jack your thread, but here are some pictures i took. Sorrry about the dark pics but the lighting wasn't the best.

A stunning True Blue xygt

A xt gt- i think it may have been repainted at some point(not sure though) we actually spoke to the lady who owns this car. she is one of the curators.

This is the only time i've ever seen an XT sports coupe- awesome!

A jensen interceptor

This is a FC??? holden custom-flip front, velour interior, running gear from a few different commodores. dad did the mechanical/bodywork, son did the paint, daughter did the airbrushing.
this next one is from the same family- its a 62 vauxhall that looks like a rsto...till you see the 253 v8 under the bonnet. the pics don't do it justice.

this was the wife's favourite
