Default So who's going to see the new Simpsons movie?

Looks like it's going to be bloody hilarius,I'll be there early.

Love the preview of Homer holding the pig to walk on the ceiling and singing "spider pig".

I can't wait for the movie! But after the movie I think the t.v show wont last much longer, there will be a huge hype, then people will be over it IMO. But I really hope not. What does everyone else think?

I'll definately be seeing it by this weekend, as I guess most people (young and old) will be too. I just hope it's not a massive let down though. The 30 minute cartoons go for just about the right length of time, I hope the movie doesn't drag on and lose it's glamour after this time, and leave us all yawning for the last hour.

anyone think it would be better to actually wait a little before going to see it.
i would imagine the first few days minimum would be packed cinemas and kinda annoying.

At first I was thinking 'meh, new Simpsons kinda sucks anyway' but after seeing previews for the movie and going through old series' of Simpsons I really can't wait.

There's gonna be that factor of it being like watching a long episode, but honestly I can sit down and watch two or three seasons in a row easy, so i'm not too fussed :P

PS. Loved the spider pig thing too!

Watched a movie the other day and it must have been pension day or something as there were at least 50 blue hairds in there. Was quite funny hearing them laugh at the trailer, most of them probably had never seen the Simpsons before.

Hopefully it's better than the last season of episodes which have been awful. The writers are clearly low on ideas.

And spider pig! looks to be great, hope it is not all hype however the simpsons is somethign that has managed to keep it's charm for all these years, doubt it would go bottom's up after the movie without advertising it as an ending to it all.

I've been told, could be a crock (didn't bother looking it up)? That they got a lot of the older writers involved. Maybe not though.
