Hey guys,
im looking for a set of mags for the NF, and there isn't much dedicated to e series anymore :( I know that skylines and other cars share the ford's 144.3 PCD, but the offsets are slightly different. What do i need to do to fit wheels made for skylines to the fairlane? will they bolt on without adapters and not hit the guard or springs? I dont really want to run adapters due to legalities, so Im trying to keep my options open with wheels manufactured for other brands... I cant quite remember, but I think hilux or rodeo's used the same stud pattern, as did some rx7's? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Only option is correct offset or spacers/hub adapters.
E-series offset is +6 and Skylines are about +35 I'm not sure how far you can vary that without running into problems. If you look around at some of the businesses that import wheels and go fast bits for imports they can probably track you a down a set of unique wheels in the right offset from the auctions in Japan. This is the route i would definantly be taking if i decided to get new wheels. Like these Work Equip wheels. $2,200 +5 offset. There top quality not like some of the chinese cheapies you buy from tyre shops here. Only problem is their 18x10 and 18x 11.5

Fair enough, thanks for the info.
I recall seeing a BA running skyline GTR wheels, with 6mm spacers, so I guess that it makes sense about the offsets... I'll just stick to haunting ebay and the for sale forum, to see what comes up

This won't help with offset, but I found this not too long ago and never knew so many cars had the same 144.3 PCD.

PRE AU is 5x114.3 not 5x144.3.............
But I guess thats what you meant......... Ford changed the offest on AU plus vehicles so Ford Owners could have a much bigger range of afftermarket rims that they could fit to their cars........ You will find heaps of wheels with PCS of 5x114.3 but its the offset thats the killer......

Skylines and AU/BA Falcons have roughly the same offsets.
Thats a nice looking wheel on ebay, i personally dont think it suits the NF though. |
