Default Stirring up the other team

My mate of many years likes to antagonize Holden fans. He got sick of some of the silly shirts holden people used to wear (e.g. Ford GT ho ho ho! or F.OR.D. Found On Rubbish Dump) so he had his own made up.

Many years ago (around 1981/82 we went to a race day at Lakeside and he wore a shirt which said "Holdens aren't girls' cars. Gay men drive them too" (No offence to any gay members. It was a different time)

When we go to car shows and there is some loudmouth bagging fords, he will always say "Peter Brock appeared to me in a dream and told me (insert witty comment here" just to stir.

We've had a few close shaves. People get pretty passionate when you tease their beloved cars.

Last weekend he saw a bumper sticker which said "I found Jesus and he's locked in my boot," so He went to the vinyl guy near him and had "I found Peter Brock and his corpse is in my boot" put on the rear bumper of his ZH fairlane.

I'm thinking he's going a bit far with that one. I have a feeling that it will really stir things up a bit too much as some people have the false belief that Brockie was a bit of a saint. I reckon it's a bit rough bagging the dead too.

I would have no problem with it saying Mark Skaife/garth tander/jamie whingecup etc.

Am I getting too sensitive or are my instincts that this will end in a bashing, correct?

Yep, me too. Not a fan of making fun of the dead, regardless of what they have /supposed to have done. Let them RIP.
